Rainbow Pyrite

675.00

Rainbow Pyrite forms within a concretion, and is a variety of pyrite found only in the Volga River area of Russia.  This muddy concretion is lined with iridescent microcrystals of pyrite showing (naturally) hues of pinks, blues, greens, and golds.  This type of 'drusy' is rare on non-quartz minerals, and in its most spectacular form, shows a variety of the aforementioned colors.
