Masha Archer’s short single strand oval collar of deep saffron colored stained copal (Tree resin/acrylic) rondelles, grandulated in size from Morocco, referred to in the African bead trade as “Moroccan Amber.” Smaller rondelles of bright saffron & green stained agate from China. And a fringe of five 2.5” long white swirled honey colored copal cylinders in heavy white brass cap fittings that depict raised images of leafy foliage motifs with flower blossoms at top & bottom from Tibet. Silver/ white brass alloy rounds incised with floral motifs- hand fashioned by the Hunan Tribes people of China. Plated furnishings and Two-Sisters pocket watch clasp- USA. Coin: Twenty-five Kopeks, 2010- Ukraine.

Masha Archer is a renowned jewelry artist and designer. She was born in Kiev, Ukraine to Sophia and Mykola Muchin, both artists and teachers of painting and sculpture at the Kiev and Kharkov Art Institutes.She studied at Pratt Institute in New York City, majoring in painting and graphic design. Masha has shown at the San Francisco Opera Shop for 25 years.
