Jim Hayes Silverworks

Jim Hayes has a love for natural stones. He uses many Oregonian founded stones such as the Deschutes Jasper, Rocky Butte Jasper, Stinking Water Agate, Plume Agate, Owyhee Jasper and more. He cuts and sets all his stones in a safe sterling silver setting with the occasional accents but all the while ensures that the focus of his jewelry is on the natural stone itself. Jim Hayes has been designing and crafting jewelry for thirty-plus years. He started out at the Saturday Market in Portland, Oregon and spent five years there before expanding into galleries and gift shops in the Northwest and California. His work is now carried by galleries around the country. Meditation time is important to him. He lives around lots of water so when a break is needed, he goes and sits by the river, meditating and pretending to be fishing. He also love to gardens.
