Johnson Hui founded his company in 1997 in San Francisco with a team of five young people. He started to make every piece of his square rings in the garage at night and sold to tourists at Fisherman’s wharf in San Francisco. Due to his unique square ring concept and contemporary design, Johnson jewelry became well known in the bay area. After two years, Johnson started his first retail store at Fisherman’s wharf and soon opened three more stores in San Francisco. In 2000,Special Concept team started to relocate the factory in China and greatly increase the productivity to cater to the growing demand all over the world. Special Concept became more and more present in all the big jewelry shows like JCK,JA in New york, Hong Kong Jewelry fair etc. and exposed to buyers from all over the world.
